The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our electrical systems. Responsibilities
As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for
- Designing, developing, and testing electrical equipment, components, and systems.
- Applying principles and techniques of electrical engineering to accomplish goals.
- Leading projects from concept to completion, ensuring they meet cost, quality, and performance objectives.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues.
- Developing specifications and instructions for the installation of electrical systems.
- Implementing and maintaining Drives, Optical Encoders, and other electrical components.
- Utilizing programming languages such as C and Python to automate processes.
- Using software like Labview, MathCAD, and MatLab for data analysis and system modeling.
- Continually updating knowledge and staying current with the latest technology trends in electrical engineering.
- Ensuring all electrical work complies with relevant safety standards and regulations.
To be successful in this role, applicants must have
- A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry.
- Proven experience with Drives, Optical Encoders, C , Python, Labview, MathCAD, and MatLab.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, with a keen eye for identifying and resolving issues.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to lead projects from concept to completion.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with a creative approach to overcoming challenges.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex electrical concepts to non-technical team members.
- A commitment to staying current with the latest technology trends in electrical engineering.
- A strong commitment to safety, with knowledge of relevant safety standards and regulations.
