As a Senior Engineer in Transmission Planning, you will play a vital role in our dynamic, fast-paced finance industry. You will be responsible for planning, organizing, and executing transmission system projects and strategies. This position offers an exciting opportunity to leverage your expertise in electric transmission planning and regulatory requirements while working on innovative projects that aim to shape the future of finance.

Responsibilities :

1. Develop and maintain long-range transmission plans to ensure system reliability and economic efficiency.

2. Perform detailed analysis of transmission system under various operating conditions to identify system limitations.

3. Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to develop and implement effective solutions for transmission system issues.

4. Prepare and present technical reports on transmission planning studies to management, regulatory bodies, and other stakeholders.

5. Stay updated with the latest industry standards, regulatory requirements, and technological advancements related to transmission planning.

6. Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring all projects are completed within the allocated budget and time frame.

7. Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers, aiding in their professional development.

Qualifications :

1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an ABET accredited program.

2. Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in electric transmission planning, preferably in the finance industry.

3. Thorough knowledge of regulatory requirements and standards related to transmission planning.

4. Proven ability to develop and execute long-range objectives and plans.

5. Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform detailed system analysis and identify effective solutions.

6. Excellent project management skills with a proven track record of managing budgets and completing projects within the allocated time frame.

7. Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively present complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.

8. Ability to stay updated with the latest industry trends, regulatory requirements, and technological advancements.

9. A minimum of three (3) years of experience is required for this role.
