Job Details

This opportunity is tailored for seasoned professionals deeply passionate about the healthcare sector and eager to influence the development of cutting-edge medical facilities. Your role involves contributing to the estimation and budgeting processes for various healthcare construction projects, ensuring they stay on track financially and temporally.

Key Responsibilities

• Formulate detailed project estimates encompassing labor, materials, equipment, and ancillary expenses for healthcare construction endeavors.
• Employ Destini estimating software to generate precise and dependable cost assessments.
• Collaborate closely with project managers, architects, and engineers to grasp project intricacies and objectives.
• Assess contractor and supplier bids to ascertain cost efficiency and alignment with project specifications.
• Compile and deliver comprehensive reports and cost breakdowns to stakeholders, including clients and project managers.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and pricing dynamics to maintain accuracy in estimations.
• Actively participate in project meetings, offering insights and recommendations rooted in your estimation proficiency.
• Engage closely with the project management team during construction to manage costs and mitigate financial risks.
• Contribute to refining and enhancing estimation and cost management processes.
  
  

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience as an Estimator, with a focus on Healthcare Construction.
• Proficiency in Destini or similar estimating software.
• A degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Exceptional analytical and mathematical acumen, coupled with keen attention to detail.
• Thorough understanding of construction materials, techniques, and equipment.
• Ability to interpret architectural drawings and specifications effectively.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a knack for simplifying complex information.
• Effective negotiation skills to secure favorable prices and terms.
• Capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects concurrently.
• Proficient problem-solving skills, enabling proactive issue anticipation and resolution.
• Collaborative and proactive team player, adept at working with diverse stakeholders.
• Familiarity with healthcare industry regulations and construction standards is advantageous.
