Job Details
Our organization is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Financial Analyst to join our healthcare team. This is a full-time position that offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, challenging, and rewarding environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in the financial planning and analysis of our healthcare division, providing critical financial insights and recommendations to help shape our strategic decisions.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the continued development of budgeting, financial forecasting, operating plan, and modeling tools.
- Perform ongoing financial forecasting, annual budgeting processes, operating plan variance analysis, and special projects.
- Provide financial consulting and strategic support to senior management including preparing board presentations, financial presentations, capital expenditure analysis, industry/peer group comparisons, new business opportunities, acquisition analysis, and other projects requested by senior management.
- Analyze complex financial information and reports to provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to management for decision making purposes.
- Support the cash flow analysis process, including forecasting and tracking of cash flow positions.
- Conduct monthly financial reporting including key financial metrics, actual vs budget results, and insightful commentary on variances.
- Participate in the M&A process, including due diligence and financial modeling.
- Prepare all financial reporting requirements package on a monthly and quarterly basis.
- Develop financial models and analyses to support strategic initiatives.
- Provide insights to senior management around financial modeling, forecasts, and profitability.
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and planning. Experience in the healthcare industry is highly desirable.
- Strong proficiency in financial planning and analysis functions, including annual budget, capital budgeting, long-term strategic planning, and resource allocation.
- Proven knowledge of financial forecasting and diagnosis, corporate finance, and information analysis.
- Well informed in current financial subjects, accounting, tax laws, money market, and business environments.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other financial planning software.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills are mandatory.
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage well through ambiguity and complexity.
- Ability to execute and follow-through to completion and documentation.
- Experience in M&A financial analysis and integration is a plus.
