Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement highly scalable and resilient Java applications that align with our business needs.
- Utilize your expertise in Java 8 and Object-Oriented Programming to enhance our current systems and develop new ones.
- Create and maintain RESTful services and APIs to ensure seamless integration with other applications.
- Leverage AWS and other cloud technologies to build and deploy applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, provide technical insights, and drive the development process.
- Participate in code reviews to maintain high-quality code and promote best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software-related issues, demonstrating a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our systems are up-to-date and competitive.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our software development processes and practices.
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in software development, specifically with Java 8.
- Profound knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming and its concepts.
- Proven experience with RESTful services , microservices, and AWS.
- A strong understanding of cloud technologies and their application in a business environment.
- Prior experience working in the insurance industry is a plus.
- Familiarity with SaaS platforms and their development.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and strategically.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse team.
- A commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.
