We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Litigation Attorney to join our high-performing legal team. This position will play a key role in managing and driving complex litigation cases, including criminal law, from strategy through resolution. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in state and federal court proceedings and a passion for delivering high-quality legal services.

Responsibilities

As a Senior Litigation Attorney, your main duties will include

• Managing all phases of litigation from the investigation, pleadings, and discovery through the pre-trial, trial, settlement, and appeal processes.
• Conducting extensive complex legal research and review of cases, statutes, regulations, and legal articles to prepare for trials and hearings.
• Drafting and preparing pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
• Representing clients in court proceedings, including hearings, trials, and appeals.
• Advising clients on their legal rights and obligations, providing clear and concise legal advice.
• Negotiating settlements in civil litigation cases to avoid trials and reduce legal costs.
• Collaborating with a team of attorneys and paralegals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our clients.
• Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of laws, legal news, and trends in the legal industry.
  
  

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, you must possess the following qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a litigation attorney, with a focus on criminal law.
• Admission to the state bar and in good standing.
• Extensive experience with trials, hearings, depositions, and mediations in both state and federal courts.
• Proficiency in legal research and writing, with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong negotiation skills and the ability to resolve complex disputes.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex legal concepts to clients and colleagues.
• High degree of professional ethics and integrity.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases simultaneously.
