Issues and tracks work orders, ensuring that required material is supplied to the production floor. Expedites and prioritizes work orders and participates in weekly production schedule meetings.Why join us?Amazing Company Culture100% covered Tuition / Continued Education Reimbursement (Book cost included!!)Benefits Medical, Dental, Vision, STD, life insurance and 401k MatchFamily Owned BusinessPromote Work life BalanceWellness reimbursement up to $60Employee referral programJob DetailsRESPONSIBILITIES : Sequences production schedules to ensure on-time delivery metric achieved for customer orders and optimized production.Manage work order releases with respect to material requirements planning.Work with production and other departments to establish weekly production targets.Utilizes capacity and demand data to create recovery dates for late orders and lead timesIdentify upcoming capacity bottlenecks and implement solutionsPresent data and issues clearly to all levels of the organizationEfficiently communicate with Inside Sales on prioritization, delays, and lead timesInterfaces with manufacturing personnel, purchasing personnel, etc. on material status and production planning issues.Lead and assist in special projects.Recommend and utilize tool improvement in the planning areaReport immediately all suspicious and hazardous conditions to a supervisor.Assist in maintaining clean, orderly, and hazard-free work areas.Able to work with minimal supervision, be a self-starter and be detail oriented.Other duties as assigned.QUALIFICATIONS : Ability to work well with others in a team environment.Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of changing situationsStrong analytical skills in both reading and creating dataUnderstand purchasing, MRP continuous improvement methodology, inventory controland lot control.Ability to lead and implement continuous improvement initiativesAdvanced planning knowledge such as SQL, APICS certifications, PowerBI, or advanced ExcelEDUCATION / EXPERIENCE : Bachelor’s in science in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or other related field preferred.At least 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment and working with an MRP / ERP system preferred.Prefer 10 Years of experience in planningAPIC’s certification preferredInterested in hearing more?
