Job Details
Responsibilities
- Interpret technical drawings using GD&T to validate and inspect product dimensions
- Lead root cause analysis and corrective action processes for nonconformance issues
- Support and participate in NRV (Nonconforming Review and Validation) teams
- Maintain and improve quality documentation, records, and reports
- Interface with production and engineering teams to address quality concerns in real time
- Drive initiatives that integrate performance metrics with quality systems
- Assist in internal audit functions (a plus, but not required)
- Contribute to fostering a quality-first culture across the plant floor
- Bachelor’s degree preferred and at least 5 years of experience in a quality engineering role
- Strong working knowledge of GD&T and interpreting technical drawings
- Proven background managing corrective actions and handling nonconformance reports
- Comfortable working onsite in a manufacturing environment full-time
- Experience in cross-functional teams focused on quality and process improvement
- Internal auditing experience is a plus
- Familiarity with performance-driven quality practices is highly desired
- Exposure to maritime manufacturing is a bonus, but not required
