Well-Funded, venture backed startup is hiring for a Senior Protocol Engineer! This startup is partnered with big names in the crypto space and is a core contributor to their Solana liquidity aggregator and a mobile trading app used by currently used by 1/2 a million users. In this role you work will primarily focus around writing low-latency software that optimizes cryptocurrency trade execution and power the core of billions of dollars in trading volume on the Solana network.

Job Details
Requirements
- 5 years of software engineering experience
- Strong systems engineering experience Rust, preferably at a crypto, FAANG, or fintech shop
- Strong software architecture and design skills, including the ability to weigh tradeoffs between various approaches
- Strong understanding of networks, communication protocols, and distributed systems
- Strong communication skills, and the ability to participate productively in technical discussions
- Experience with distributed systems, operating systems
- Understand compiler design, and features of modern compilers (e.g. Hindley-Milner type systems)
- Interest in DeFi and open source contributions
