Responsibilities
As a Senior Software Engineer, your core responsibilities will include
- Designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software systems and applications.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Utilizing AWS cloud services to build scalable, high performance systems that deliver world-class customer experiences.
- Identifying and correcting bottlenecks and fixing bugs to improve application performance.
- Leading and mentoring junior engineers, providing code reviews, and promoting best practices.
- Ensuring the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
- Staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our company remains at the forefront of the tech services industry.
To qualify for this exciting role, you should possess
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of proven experience in software development.
- Proficiency in AWS cloud services is a must. Additional experience with other cloud services will be considered a plus.
- Strong knowledge of software development methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment, collaborating with different levels of staff and external clients.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
