With a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, the candidate will have the opportunity to manage, maintain, and optimize our company's systems infrastructure.
Responsibilities
As a Senior Systems Administrator, you will
- Be responsible for the day-to-day operational management of the company's server environment, including system monitoring, performance tuning, system upgrades, and troubleshooting.
- Manage and maintain VMWare ESXi virtual infrastructure, ensuring high availability and optimal performance.
- Utilize SCCM for system patching, software distribution, and operating system deployment.
- Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure seamless and robust integration of applications and systems.
- Develop and maintain system documentation, including configuration data and troubleshooting guides.
- Participate in the planning and execution of disaster recovery procedures.
- Provide third-level support to the IT helpdesk, resolving complex issues and escalating where necessary.
- Ensure the security of the company's IT systems, implementing security measures and protocols, and staying up-to-date with the latest security threats and countermeasures.
The ideal candidate for the Senior Systems Administrator position will have
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a Systems Administrator role or similar, with a focus on server administration, VMWare ESXi, and SCCM.
- Certifications such as MCSA, MCSE, VCP, or similar are highly desirable.
