Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Prepare tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and trusts/estates (1041)
- Adjust financials for tax return preparation
- Conduct tax research and stay current on legislation
- Ensure compliance with local, state, federal, and international tax codes
- Participate in tax planning strategies and research projects
- Communicate with client management teams to build trust and deliver insights
- Collaborate with senior leadership to manage deliverables and deadlines
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Taxation; Master’s in Taxation is a plus
- CPA license or eligibility preferred
- Experience with tax software (e.g., ProSystem fx, UltraTax, etc.)
- Several years of public accounting or tax internship experience preferred
- Strong analytical and technical tax skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Team-oriented and organized, with the ability to handle multiple projects
- Motivated by deadlines and dedicated to client service
