Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Transactional Real Estate Attorney to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in real estate finance, with experience working with New York banks and clients, and the ability to manage high-volume loan documents and closing statements.
The successful candidate will be responsible for drafting and negotiating complex real estate transaction documents, as well as maintaining excellent analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment are essential.
The Senior Transactional Real Estate Attorney will report directly to our leadership team and will be expected to maintain the highest level of professionalism and ethics in all interactions.
Responsibilities:
- Drafting and negotiating complex real estate transaction documents
- Maintaining extensive knowledge of loan documents and NY clientele (banks or private lenders)
- Closing statements and managing high-volume transactions
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
Requirements:
- Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school
- Licensed to practice law in the state of NJ or NY
- Minimum of 2-10 years of experience as a transactional real estate attorney
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other productivity software
