We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Sheet Metal Foreman for a permanent role within our company. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of our sheet metal projects, including planning, fabricating, installation of commercial / industrial ductwork.
A strong background in ductwork and ductwork layouts, as well as experience with VAV systems, is essential for this role.

Responsibilities :
- Oversee and manage sheet metal projects
- Develop and implement efficient sheet metal production strategies to ensure high-quality products and timely delivery.
- Coordinate with other departments and teams to ensure smooth operation and communication.
- Supervise and train sheet metal team members, ensuring they comply with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, or product specifications to determine sequence and methods of fabricating, assembling, and installing sheet
metal products.
- Calculate and convert dimensions from blueprints and plans to perform layout work for ductwork and other sheet metal products.
- Inspect work in progress and finished products to ensure conformance with specifications.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment by enforcing procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during the project
- Continually evaluate processes and methods, identify areas for improvement, and implement necessary changes to optimize efficiency and quality.
- Ensure all sheet metal work is compliant with industry standards and regulations.
Qualifications :
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the commercial / industrial HVAC industry
- Extensive knowledge and experience with ductwork and ductwork layouts.
- Experience with VAV systems.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using various tools and equipment used in sheet metal operations.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures
