We are seeking a seasoned and dynamic Senior Chemist to join our innovative team in the Manufacturing industry. The successful candidate will be a key player in developing and improving our silicone and adhesive coating products. This individual will bring their expertise in formulation and chemistry to bear on creating cutting-edge solutions that meet our clients' diverse needs. Strong experience with silicone formulating background is a must. 1k and 2k silicone rubber. This is a permanent position that offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and optimization of silicone and adhesive coating formulations to meet specified performance criteria and manufacturing processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful scale-up of new products from lab to manufacturing.
• Utilize a deep understanding of chemistry to solve complex technical problems and drive continuous improvement.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior chemists in the team.
• Maintain detailed documentation of all formulation and testing activities.
• Stay abreast of latest advancements in chemistry and related fields to foster innovation.
• Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations in all laboratory and manufacturing activities.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders on project status, challenges, and results.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry.
• Extensive experience in silicone and adhesive coating formulation. 1k and 2k silicone rubber
• Strong leadership skills with a track record of mentoring and developing teams.
• Solid understanding of chemistry principles and their application in a manufacturing setting.
• Proven problem-solving abilities and experience in driving continuous improvement.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Familiarity with safety and environmental regulations in a laboratory and manufacturing setting.
