Responsibilities
As our Senior Medical Director, Drug Safety & Pharmacovigilance, your primary responsibilities will include
- Leading and overseeing the company's drug safety and pharmacovigilance activities.
- Developing and implementing strategies to ensure the safety and efficacy of our products.
- Monitoring and identifying any safety signals and potential risks associated with our products.
- Evaluating and interpreting data from ongoing and completed clinical trials.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop risk management plans.
- Ensuring compliance with all regulatory guidelines and standards related to drug safety and pharmacovigilance.
- Providing medical expertise and guidance to the drug safety team.
- Participating in the preparation and review of regulatory documents, safety reports, and other clinical documents.
- Developing and maintaining relationships with health authorities and key opinion leaders in the field.
To be considered for the Senior Medical Director, Drug Safety & Pharmacovigilance position, you must have the following
- A medical degree from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in drug safety and pharmacovigilance, including safety monitoring and safety signals.
- Strong knowledge of global pharmacovigilance regulations and guidelines.
- Proven experience in the interpretation and evaluation of safety data.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex medical information.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and foster a collaborative environment.
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and ethics.
