Sr. Network Engineer needed for large established California Bank - this position monitors, evaluates and performs diagnostics on the Bank's LAN/WAN network, network related backups of configurations, DR systems, and VOIP optimization.

Job Details

Required Knowledge

• Ethernet, TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, Active Directory, VOIP
• Cisco wired technologies, including switches, and routers
• Cisco wireless technologies, including WLC, AP, AP Modes FlexConnect and CAPWAP
• Arista network hardware and software
• Fortinet network hardware and software
• HP network hardware and software
• Solarwinds suite of network management modules including IPAM and NMS
• Security protocols NAC, MFA, SSO, DLP, RADIUS, and RSA SecurID
• VMware, Zerto, Nutanix, Cohesity, and Accedian technologies
• Network load balancing technologies (physical or virtual)
• Redundant WAN connections using cellular or fixed wireless technologies
• Managed DNS service providers
• Cloud architecture and compute
• Knowledge of Business Resumption Planning and Disaster Recovery
• Knowledge of ITIL service management concepts for incident, problem, and change management

Education and Experience

• Bachelors in computer science or equivalent (preferred)
• Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP and/or CCDA preferred)
• Fortinet Firewall administration experience and/or certifications is a must
• Ten years of designing and managing high security LAN and WAN networks or any equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience designing and managing VOIP network
• Cloud administration experience or certification preferred
