Our company is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Preconstruction Manager to join our team. This is a permanent role for a seasoned professional who has a proven track record in commercial multifamily construction. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the construction industry, including RFP, multifamily construction, hospitality, condominium construction, and commercial projects. Proficiency in OST, MS Office Suite, Bluebeam, Sage, estimating, and Take Off is a must. This position requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities

As a Senior Preconstruction Manager, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to

• Leading and managing the preconstruction process for commercial multifamily construction projects.
• Developing and maintaining relationships with clients, architects, and subcontractors.
• Reviewing and understanding project specifications, drawings, and contracts.
• Preparing accurate and comprehensive cost estimates, budgets, and bid packages.
• Coordinating with project teams to ensure smooth transition from preconstruction to construction phase.
• Participating in negotiations with clients and subcontractors.
• Utilizing software tools such as OST, MS Office Suite, Bluebeam, Sage for project management and documentation.
• Conducting risk analysis and implementing mitigation strategies.
• Providing expertise in multifamily construction, hospitality, and condominium construction.
• Ensuring adherence to company standards and compliance with relevant regulations.
  
  

Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in preconstruction management, specifically in commercial multifamily construction.
• Proven experience in RFP, multifamily construction, hospitality, condominium construction, and commercial projects.
• Expertise in using OST, MS Office Suite, Bluebeam, Sage, estimating, and Take Off.
• Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• A bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• A thorough understanding of construction laws and practices.
• Strong knowledge of construction cost, scheduling, estimating, purchasing, and engineering principles.
