Responsibilities
- Responsible for maintaining AP function, receive, process, and verify invoices
- Verify and process expense reports in Expensify
- Perform bank and credit card transaction entries
- Month-end closing responsibilities for assigned inventory, including data, journal entries, and account reconciliations
- Perform variance analysis for assigned accounts
- Post journal entries
- Receive payments and reconcile customer accounts
- Assist in processing balance sheets, income statements, and other financial statements
- Prepare and submit assigned weekly and monthly reports
- Assist in the preparation of monthly and annual close process
- Assist in yearly third-party audit process
- Associate Degree required, Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related area of study preferred
- 3 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in the manufacturing, retail, or e-commerce industries
- Experience with data migration, inventory and cost accounting, closing cycles, and reconciliations
- Proficiency in financial software and tools
- Understanding of GAAP
- Ability to work in office 3 days a week
