Job Description
We are seeking an experienced accountant with a strong attention to detail and analytical skills. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Assisting in the preparation of financial reports, such as income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Performing account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance.
- Reviewing and analyzing financial data to prepare entries to accounts, documenting business transactions.
- Cost Accounting: standard cost, bill of materials.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in an accounting role, preferably within the engineering industry.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting and their application.
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, and accounting software. Experience with QuickBooks is a plus.
- Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
- High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
