You will be responsible for the preparation and analysis of statutory financial reports, ensuring compliance with GAAP, SAP, NAIC, DOI standards, and other regulatory requirements. Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze statutory financial reports in accordance with GAAP, SAP, NAIC, DOI, and other applicable regulatory standards.
- Manage and maintain accurate and timely journal entities.
- Conduct account reconciliations and rectify any discrepancies promptly.
- Provide robust audit support, liaising with internal and external auditors as required.
- Review and interpret financial statements, providing insights and recommendations to management.
- Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards.
- Continually assess and implement improvements to financial processes and controls.
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure accurate financial reporting and decision-making.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and changes in regulations to ensure ongoing compliance.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree or CPA is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in statutory financial reporting, preferably within the healthcare industry.
- Profound knowledge of GAAP, SAP, NAIC, DOI, and other regulatory standards.
- Strong experience in preparing and analyzing financial statements.
- Proficiency in managing journal entities and conducting account reconciliations.
- Demonstrated experience in providing audit support.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with various stakeholders.
- Proficiency in using financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong commitment to ethical practices and compliance with regulations.
