We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Supplier Quality Engineer to join our dynamic team. This is a permanent position that offers an exciting opportunity to play a critical role in the evaluation and selection of suppliers, as well as the ongoing monitoring of supplier performance. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of ISO 13485 standards, ASQ Certification, Lean and Six Sigma methodologies, and Statistics. The position requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement supplier quality evaluation and control systems.
• Perform regular supplier audits to ensure compliance with ISO 13485 standards.
• Participate on New Product Development (NPD) project teams.
• Collaborate with suppliers to ensure quality standards are met and continuously improved upon.
• Facilitate the development of supplier quality agreements.
• Utilize Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to drive process improvements.
• Use statistical analysis to assess supplier performance and develop improvement strategies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address supplier quality issues.
• Provide technical and statistical expertise to teams and suppliers.
• Manage and resolve supplier quality issues to ensure minimal impact on operations.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Supplier Quality Engineering, preferably in the Accounting Finance industry.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 13485 standards and ASQ Certification.
• Experience with Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Proficiency in statistical analysis and the use of statistical software.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to lead teams in problem resolution.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with suppliers and cross-functional teams.
• Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality and continuous improvement.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel and PowerPoint.
