We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Tax Accountant to join our team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in maintaining our financial health and operations. You will be responsible for preparing and reviewing a variety of complex tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, trusts, and estates. You will also be involved in strategic planning and consulting on a wide range of tax-related issues. Responsibilities

• Prepare and review tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, trusts, and estates.
• Identify potential tax credits and liabilities and ensure accurate and timely reporting of all tax forms.
• Conduct tax research and planning to optimize tax strategies and compliance.
• Collaborate with internal and external auditors during audits and reviews.
• Stay abreast of changes in tax regulations and legislation to ensure compliance and provide proactive advice to the management team.
• Provide guidance and support on tax-related issues to other departments within the company.
• Collaborate with the finance team to accurately forecast tax obligations.
• Develop and implement effective strategies to minimize tax liabilities and increase profitability.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date tax records and documentation.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Enrolled Agent (EA) designation preferred.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in tax accounting, with a focus on corporate, partnership, individual, trust, or estate tax returns.
• Strong knowledge of federal and state tax regulations and procedures.
• Proficient in tax software and MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex tax information in a clear and concise manner.
• High level of integrity and professionalism.
