Essential Functions
- Deliver strategic tax planning for business entities
- Experience in consolidated tax returns
- Knowledge of income tax law. Will be responsible for all aspects of tax services, including preparation of Individual, Corporate, Partnership, Estates, Gift Tax and Trust Returns
- Possess a positive work ethic and a drive to participate as a member of the team
- Ability to build relationships with clients, focus on understanding their needs and deliver timely and high‐quality service
- Mentor staff accountants through leadership and training objectives
- Takes ownership of billing/budget procedures which may include addressing difficult billing, collection, or budget matters
- Participate in networking and business development activities for personal and professional growth
- 1-4 years of experience as a tax associate, tax accountant or tax intern
- Degree in accounting, any Tax exp. is a plus
- Background in GAAP accounting
- Excellent critical thinking and problem‐solving skills
- Any exp. with general and accounting related computer software with preferred experience in ProSystems, Adavanced Flow, QuickBooks, Yardi Breeze experience a plus
