We are seeking a highly experienced and diligent Tax & Estate Planning Attorney to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is looking to apply their expertise in tax law and estate planning to a dynamic, fast-paced legal environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive tax and estate planning advice to our diverse clientele, which includes high-net-worth individuals, families, and businesses.

Responsibilities

As a Tax & Estate Planning Attorney, your duties will include

• Providing expert advice on complex tax issues, including gift tax, estate tax, income tax, and other related areas.
• Developing and implementing comprehensive estate plans to meet clients' specific needs and objectives.
• Drafting and reviewing legal documents including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and other estate planning instruments.
• Advising clients on potential tax implications of various business and personal transactions.
• Representing clients in disputes with tax authorities, including audits, appeals, and litigation.
• Keeping abreast of changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure our clients receive the most current and accurate advice.
• Collaborating with other members of our legal team to provide comprehensive legal services to our clients.
  
  

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this role will have the following qualifications

• A Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• A license to practice law in the state.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in tax law and estate planning, with a strong focus on gift tax issues.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Master of Laws (LLM) in Taxation.
• Proven track record of successfully advising clients on complex tax and estate planning matters.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal and tax issues in a clear and understandable manner.
• A high degree of professional ethics and integrity.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
