Salary $160,000 - $225,000 per year
A Bit About Us
We’re a well-respected firm with a sharp, focused tax litigation team that handles complex civil tax disputes across federal and state courts. We’re looking for someone who’s been in the trenches — someone who knows their way around the courtroom and understands what it takes to drive results in tax controversy matters. If you've done time at IRS Chief Counsel, the U.S. Attorney’s Office, or DOJ Tax — even better. This isn’t a back-office role. You’ll be trusted to lead, manage cases, and build client relationships directly. Bonus points if you’ve got a book of business (even a small one) and want to grow it in a place that won’t micromanage.

Job Details
Handle complex civil tax litigation in federal and state courts
Lead cases, manage client relationships, and supervise files
Work closely with IRS, DOJ Tax, and other regulatory bodies
Experience with refund litigation and trial work is key
Must be admitted to practice in Michigan
Prior Government Experience Strongly Preferred
Book of business isn’t required, but a plus if you’ve got one
Need to be responsive, detail-oriented, and able to juggle multiple cases at once
