We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Permanent Tax Manager to join our dynamic finance team. This role is integral to our organization, as it involves advising clients on the tax implications of their business objectives, evaluating and selecting alternative actions to lessen tax burden and cost of compliance, and identifying different methods of complying with tax regulations. The successful candidate will act as the primary client contact for complex tax issues and will be expected to understand potential tax issues, communicate potential risks, and stay abreast of potential changes in tax policy. This role also involves marketing, networking, and business development within an area of expertise and specialization.

- Provide strategic tax advice to clients based on their business objectives, ensuring compliance with tax regulations while minimizing tax burden and costs.
- Evaluate and select alternative tax strategies to lessen tax burden and cost of compliance.
- Identify different methods of complying with tax regulations, acting as the primary client contact for complex tax issues.
- Understand potential tax issues, communicate potential risks, and keep up-to-date with changes in tax policy.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, becoming a trusted advisor on all tax-related matters.
- Participate in marketing, networking, and business development activities within your area of expertise and specialization.
- Provide written tax advice for clients, ensuring all advice is accurate, comprehensive, and tailored to the client's specific circumstances.
- Delegate work effectively as needed, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and on time.
- Work collaboratively in a team environment, contributing to a positive and supportive work culture.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within the finance industry.
- Strong knowledge of tax regulations and compliance requirements.
- Proven experience advising clients on the tax implications of their business objectives.
- Experience evaluating and selecting alternative tax strategies to lessen tax burden and cost of compliance.
- Demonstrated ability to identify different methods of complying with tax regulations.
- Strong understanding of potential tax issues, with the ability to communicate potential risks and changes in tax policy.
- Proven experience in marketing, networking, and business development within an area of expertise and specialization.
- Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to provide clear and concise written tax advice for clients.
- Strong analytical, research, critical thinking, and decision-making skills.
- Proven ability to delegate work effectively as needed.
- Excellent team player, with the ability to work well in a collaborative environment.
