Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate tax planning, preparation, and review of complex tax returns, including partnerships, S-corps, HNWI, and pass-through entities.
- Provide innovative tax planning, consulting, and compliance expertise to clients.
- Manage client relationships, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and identifying opportunities to expand services.
- Lead and mentor team members, fostering a learning environment and promoting professional development.
- Stay abreast of changes in tax legislation and regulations to ensure compliance and advise clients accordingly.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external advisors to deliver comprehensive tax solutions.
- Participate in business development initiatives, contributing to the growth and reputation of the firm.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. A Master's degree in Taxation or a CPA certification is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in public accounting or tax consulting.
- Extensive experience with partnerships, S-corps, HNWI, individual tax, and pass-through entities.
- Strong knowledge of federal and state tax codes, regulations, and case law.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills.
- Superior interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex tax concepts in a clear and concise manner.
- Proficiency in tax software and technology tools.
- Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to mentor and develop team members.
- High level of integrity and professionalism, with a commitment to upholding the firm's reputation.
- Ability to manage multiple engagements, prioritize tasks, and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
