We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Permanent Tax Senior Associate to join our Accounting Finance team. Responsibilities
As a Permanent Tax Senior Associate, you will
- Prepare and review complex tax returns for corporations, partnerships, and individuals.
- Conduct thorough tax research and planning to minimize tax liabilities and ensure compliance with tax laws.
- Assist with the preparation of quarterly and annual tax provisions.
- Provide supervision, guidance, and training to junior staff members.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely tax reporting.
- Liaise with tax authorities and provide tax audit support.
- Stay updated on current tax practices and changes in tax law.
- Develop and implement strategic tax planning for clients.
- Identify and mitigate tax risks.
- Coordinate accounting staff and manage tax reporting.
To be considered for this position, you must have
- A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree or CPA certification is highly desirable.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a tax senior associate role or equivalent.
- In-depth knowledge of tax laws, compliance procedures, and tax planning.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in tax software and MS Office.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to mentor junior staff.
- High level of integrity and professionalism.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
