We are a leading provider of electronic sign systems and software for fuel price management, as well as dynamic message signs and control software for transportation applications across North America.

Get ready to join a dynamic and progressive manufacturing company as a Technical Sales Representative. This is an incredible opportunity for an ambitious professional with a strong background in the manufacturing industry.

Responsibilities

As a Permanent Technical Sales Representative, you will be the driving force behind our company's growth and success. Your duties will include, but will not be limited to

  • Developing and implementing strategic sales plans to accommodate corporate goals.
  • Directing sales forecasting activities and setting performance goals accordingly.
  • Reviewing market analyses to determine customer needs, price schedules, and discount rates.
  • Delivering sales presentations to key clients, meeting with key clients, and maintaining relationships.
  • Negotiating and closing business deals that satisfy both the customers and the company.
  • Preparing periodic sales reports showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion.
  • Collaborating with the engineering team to develop technical aspects of sales proposals and presentations.
  • Representing the company at trade association meetings to promote the product and the brand.
  • Analyzing and controlling expenditures to conform to budgetary requirements.

Qualifications

To be the successful candidate for this role, you must have

  • 2 years' experience in the manufacturing industry.
  • Proven success in B2B sales.
  • A strong technical aptitude, with the ability to understand and explain complex technical concepts to customers.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a knack for building strong relationships.
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills, with a track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
  • Proficiency in using sales and customer relationship management software.
  • Willingness to travel domestically on a regular basis.
