Responsibilities
As a Territory Sales Manager, you will be responsible for
- Developing and implementing effective sales strategies to drive sales growth in the assigned territory.
- Establishing productive and professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts.
- Conducting regular on-farm visits to provide product information and technical advice.
- Negotiating and closing agreements with clients, ensuring adherence to law-established rules and guidelines.
- Providing regular sales forecasts and reports to senior management, using your expertise to interpret trends and suggest improvements.
- Keeping abreast of industry trends, market activities, and competitors to maintain a competitive edge.
- Collaborating with team members to achieve better results and contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
The ideal candidate for this role will possess
- A Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, with at least 1-2 years in the beef industry.
- Proven track record in sales and meeting or exceeding targets.
- Strong knowledge of nutrition, formulating, and on-farm operations.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
- Ability to travel regularly within the assigned territory.
- A solid understanding of market dynamics and customer requirements.
- Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and under pressure to meet deadlines.
