Our company, a leading player in the Manufacturing industry, is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Permanent Territory Sales Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all sales activities within their designated territory, with a specific focus on driving business growth and customer satisfaction. This role is perfect for a seasoned professional who has a deep understanding of the beef industry, nutrition, and formulating, coupled with on-farm experience. Responsibilities

As a Territory Sales Manager, you will be responsible for

  • Developing and implementing effective sales strategies to drive sales growth in the assigned territory.
  • Establishing productive and professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts.
  • Conducting regular on-farm visits to provide product information and technical advice.
  • Negotiating and closing agreements with clients, ensuring adherence to law-established rules and guidelines.
  • Providing regular sales forecasts and reports to senior management, using your expertise to interpret trends and suggest improvements.
  • Keeping abreast of industry trends, market activities, and competitors to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Collaborating with team members to achieve better results and contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this role will possess

  • A Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, with at least 1-2 years in the beef industry.
  • Proven track record in sales and meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Strong knowledge of nutrition, formulating, and on-farm operations.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
  • Ability to travel regularly within the assigned territory.
  • A solid understanding of market dynamics and customer requirements.
  • Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and under pressure to meet deadlines.
