Responsibilities
As a Permanent Tool & Die Maker (Carbide), your duties will include but are not limited to
- Designing, fabricating, and repairing tools, dies, and fixtures for use in manufacturing processes.
- Performing precision work to exacting tolerances and dimensions.
- Solving complex technical problems related to tool design and manufacturing.
- Inspecting finished products for quality and adherence to specifications.
- Operating and maintaining machinery and equipment, including lathes, grinders, and milling machines.
- Collaborating with engineers and other professionals to improve production efficiency.
- Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
To be considered for the Permanent Tool & Die Maker (Carbide) role, candidates must possess the following qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in tool making, with a focus on working with carbide.
