Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of commercial construction projects from planning to implementation.
- Allocate resources for assigned projects.
- Supervise onsite personnel and subcontractors.
- Interface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials, and clients.
- Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specifications.
- Ensure project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.
- Conduct quality control duties and responsibilities regarding the work being performed.
- Communicate with project team regarding ASI’s, RFI’s, and Material Submittals.
- Regularly inspect the work of subcontractors to ensure quality and conformity with plans.
- Ensure all onsite personnel comply with project procedures, safety program requirements, work rules, etc.
- Document all violations, notify project management, recommend/implement corrective actions as required.
- 5 years of experience in the construction industry, specifically in a supervisory role.
- Proven track record of successfully completed commercial construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, equipment, and OSHA guidelines.
- Ability to read blueprints, structural drawings, and plan sets.
- Advanced understanding of risk management policies and procedures.
- Extensive experience managing budgets for large construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction materials, processes, and equipment.
- Must have OSHA 30 certification.
- Ability to travel as required for the job.
- Exceptional leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- A strong work ethic and a professional demeanor.
