Our firm is seeking a dynamic, enthusiastic, and highly skilled Permanent Trial Attorney with a focus on Insurance Defense. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in representing insurance companies in a variety of defense matters, ranging from auto accidents and personal injury to general liability and construction defects.
Responsibilities
- Represent clients in a wide range of insurance defense matters, including but not limited to, auto accidents, personal injury, general liability, traumatic brain injury, dog bites, construction defects, and habitability issues.
- Manage all aspects of litigation, including discovery, depositions, motions, trial preparation, and trial proceedings.
- Develop and implement defense strategies, negotiate settlements, and represent clients in court to achieve optimal results.
- Provide legal advice and guidance to clients regarding their rights, obligations, and legal options.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of laws, regulations, and industry trends related to insurance defense, and use this knowledge to provide effective representation and advice to clients.
- Collaborate with team members, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure a coordinated and effective defense strategy.
- Provide regular updates to clients on case progress, and ensure that all client communications are responded to in a timely and professional manner.
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the state bar and in good standing.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a trial attorney, with a focus on insurance defense.
- Proven experience in handling a variety of insurance defense cases, including auto accidents, personal injury, general liability, traumatic brain injury, dog bites, construction defects, and habitability issues.
- Strong litigation skills, including experience in discovery, depositions, motion practice, trial preparation, and trial proceedings.
- Excellent negotiation skills, with a track record of achieving favorable settlements for clients.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop effective defense strategies and provide sound legal advice.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, team members, and other stakeholders.
- Ability to manage a high caseload and work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Commitment to maintaining the highest standards of professional ethics and integrity.
