The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all stages of underground utility construction projects, ensuring that operations are carried out in a safe, efficient, and cost-effective manner. Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of underground utility construction projects from planning to implementation, ensuring that operations are carried out in accordance with company standards and project specifications.
• Supervise and coordinate the activities of construction workers, subcontractors, and staff, providing guidance and direction as necessary.
• Review and analyze blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate and efficient construction of underground utilities.
• Maintain a safe and clean job site by enforcing safety and health regulations, conducting regular safety meetings, and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
• Prepare comprehensive project status reports, documenting project progress, issues, and solutions.
• Manage and control project budgets, ensuring that resources are utilized efficiently and effectively.
• Coordinate with project stakeholders, including clients, engineers, and local authorities, to ensure smooth project execution.
• Implement and maintain quality control procedures, ensuring that all work meets or exceeds industry standards and customer expectations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve construction issues, implementing innovative solutions to complex problems.
• Conduct regular inspections of construction sites, ensuring that work is carried out in accordance with project plans and specifications.
  
  

Job Details

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction industry, with a focus on underground utilities and pipe construction.
• Proven experience in supervising and coordinating construction projects, with a track record of meeting project deadlines and budgets.
• In-depth knowledge of construction methods, equipment, and safety regulations related to underground utilities and pipe construction.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team of professionals.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex construction issues.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively coordinate with project stakeholders.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Strong knowledge of quality control procedures and standards in the construction industry.
• Ability to work in challenging conditions, demonstrating resilience and adaptability.
• A valid driver’s license and the ability to travel to different job sites as required.
