Are you a skilled Wire EDM Operator/Programmer looking for a new challenge? We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our dynamic team in the Manufacturing industry. This permanent full-time role offers the opportunity to work with state-of-the-art equipment and technology, with a focus on Mitsubishi EDM machines. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of CNC setup, operation, and programming. This role requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
Responsibilities:
As a Wire EDM Operator/Programmer, your key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
1. Operating and programming Mitsubishi Wire EDM machines for the production of high-precision components.
2. Performing CNC setup and ensuring optimal machine performance.
3. Interpreting complex technical drawings and specifications to determine the best method of fabrication.
4. Performing regular maintenance checks on the EDM machines to ensure they are running efficiently and safely.
5. Troubleshooting any issues that may arise during the manufacturing process and implementing effective solutions.
6. Collaborating with the engineering and production teams to improve manufacturing processes and product quality.
7. Ensuring all work is completed to the highest standard and in compliance with company policies and safety regulations.
8. Continually seeking ways to improve efficiency and reduce waste in the production process.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Wire EDM Operator/Programmer, preferably with Mitsubishi EDM machines.
2. Proficiency in CNC setup, operation, and programming.
3. A strong understanding of manufacturing processes and principles.
4. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
5. The ability to interpret complex technical drawings and specifications.
6. Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
