We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Wire EDM Operator to join our growing team in the manufacturing industry. This role is perfect for a skilled professional with a strong background in Esprit or NX programming, reading blueprints, G and M code, machine operation, tooling, machine set up, and Siemens. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining EDM machines and tools with precision and efficiency. This position requires a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the field.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain EDM machines and tools to produce high-quality parts, ensuring compliance with all safety and operational guidelines.
• Utilize NX programming to design and implement machining processes.
• Interpret and implement blueprints and technical drawings to accurately manufacture parts and components.
• Apply knowledge of G and M code to control machine operations effectively.
• Perform machine set up tasks, including selecting appropriate tools, aligning and securing workpieces, and verifying machine settings.
• Manage tooling processes, including tool selection, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Utilize Siemens control systems to optimize machine performance and productivity.
• Conduct regular inspections of machinery and tools, performing necessary adjustments or repairs to ensure optimal performance.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to troubleshoot and resolve machining issues.
• Maintain a clean and safe workspace, adhering to all company policies and industry regulations.
  
  

Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Wire EDM Operator or in a similar role in the manufacturing industry.
• Proficient in NX programming, reading blueprints, G and M code, machine operation, tooling, machine set up, and Siemens.
• Strong technical skills, including the ability to operate and maintain EDM machines and tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve machining issues.
• Strong attention to detail, with the ability to produce high-quality parts with precision and accuracy.
• Good communication skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Commitment to maintaining a safe and clean workspace.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects.
