We are seeking an experienced Workers' Compensation Attorney to join our team in Chicago. This role offers the opportunity to advocate for clients in all aspects of workers' compensation cases, from initial consultation through resolution. The ideal candidate will have 3-8 years of experience handling workers' compensation matters, strong litigation skills, and a client-focused approach.
Responsibilities
- Represent clients in workers' compensation claims, including hearings, depositions, and appeals.
- Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements.
- Provide strategic counsel to clients on case progression and potential outcomes.
- Negotiate settlements with opposing counsel and insurance companies.
- Manage a caseload efficiently while maintaining a high level of client service.
- Stay up to date with changes in workers' compensation laws and regulations.
- J.D. from an accredited law school and licensed to practice in Illinois.
- 3-8 years of experience in workers' compensation law.
- Strong litigation and negotiation skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple cases while meeting deadlines.
- Commitment to providing high-quality legal representation.
