Job Summary :
We are seeking a skilled ADF Data Engineer to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in Azure Data Factory (ADF) and EPIC systems to design, implement, and maintain data integration and transformation solutions that support healthcare operations. Your work will ensure seamless data flow, enhance data quality, and provide actionable insights to improve patient care and operational efficiency.
Top 3 Requirements :
HVR (Real-time data replication) experience.
Python proficiency for automating tasks, transforming, and filtering large datasets.
SQL expertise for efficient querying and data manipulation.
Azure Cloud Experience to manage and deploy data solutions on the Azure platform.
Snowflake experience for data warehousing and scalable data analytics.
Healthcare experience (a plus but not mandatory).
Day-to-Day Responsibilities :
Real-time Data Replication : Focus on HVR (real-time data replication) to ensure seamless integration and transformation of healthcare data.
Data Ingestion & Transformation : Work primarily with CSV, JSON, and YAML files, with a majority of data coming from Epic systems, along with other sources.
Automating Data Processes : Use Python to automate data ingestion, transformation, and filtration processes. Leverage Python libraries to streamline workflows and enhance efficiency.
Data Pivoting and Unpivoting : Handle complex data manipulation tasks such as pivoting and unpivoting data to ensure consistency and structure.
Parsing Unstructured Data : Manage and parse unstructured data changes, including data from vendor upgrades and system changes.
Task Automation : Automate repetitive tasks and streamline data ingestion processes using Python scripts.
Real-Time Data Replication : Establish and maintain real-time data replication systems to synchronize data across platforms, ensuring near-instantaneous availability of crucial data.
