Data Architect with experience in Investment Banking/Risk Management

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Data Architect with a strong background in Investment Banking, specifically focusing on Risk Management. The ideal candidate will have 12-15 years of experience in the data landscape, with a proven track record in cloud data platforms and data architecture. This role requires expertise in AWS, Snowflake, Data Modeling, and ETL processes. The Data Architect will work closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable, efficient, and secure data solutions for risk management.

Key Responsibilities

• Data Architecture & Modeling : Design and implement data models and architecture for data lakes and data warehousing on cloud platforms, with a focus on dimensional modeling.
• Risk Management Solutions : Collaborate with investment banking teams to ensure data solutions align with risk management objectives and requirements.
• Cloud Data Platform : Lead the design and development of data solutions leveraging AWS services, including S3, EMR, Glue, Lambda, and others.
• Snowflake Expertise : Manage the data lifecycle within Snowflake, including data ingestion and transformation using Snowpipe, Snowpart, and other ELT tools.
• ETL & Data Transformation : Build and optimize ETL pipelines, ensuring efficient and scalable data processing.
• Collaboration & Communication : Work closely with business analysts, data engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and functionality of data solutions.
• Data Quality & Governance : Ensure data integrity, security, and governance within all implemented systems and processes.

Required Qualifications

Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
