Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Data Architect to join our team.
In this expert role, you will collaborate with Business, DBA, ETL, and Data Management teams to provide solutions for complex data-related initiatives.
You will be responsible for developing and managing Data Governance and Master Data Management (MDM) solutions.
The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise, communication skills, and the ability to mentor junior team members.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain policies, procedures, and guidelines related to Data Governance, ensuring that best practices are consistently followed.
- Ensure data decisions align with best practices and are in compliance with organizational standards.
- Maintain and update the Data Standardization definitions, Data Dictionary, and Data Lineage, making them accessible and up-to-date.
- Collaborate with ETL, Replication, and DBA teams to establish best practices for data transformations, data movement, and derivations.
- Work with support teams to ensure consistent and proactive support methodologies for all aspects of data movement and transformations.
- Mentor Data Architects and Data Analysts to ensure adherence to best practices for database design and data management.
- Assist in developing architectural solutions for Data Warehouse, ODS, Data Replication, and ETL Data Management initiatives.
- Collaborate with business teams and the Enterprise Architecture team to ensure the best architectural solutions from a Data perspective.
- Create a strategic roadmap for implementing MDM.
- Implement and manage a Master Data Management (MDM) tool.
- Establish policies, procedures, and guidelines for Master Data Management.
- Document Architectural rules and design of the MDM process, ensuring that best practices are adhered to.
