Job Summary
The DCA Associate is responsible for providing essential office equipment support and services to meet customer needs. This role involves performing routine tasks such as equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and service coordination. The associate serves as the point of contact for equipment-related inquiries, performs basic problem diagnosis, and ensures the smooth operation of office equipment. The role also includes tracking, logging, and maintaining supplies and asset inventories, as well as performing basic data entry and customer service tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver basic contracted customer services, including copying, faxing, printing, and scanning.
- Serve as the point of contact for office equipment support, including problem diagnosis and routine maintenance.
- Clean and maintain office equipment as needed, ensuring operational efficiency.
- Replace operator-accessible parts and consumables (e.g., toner, paper) to ensure smooth operations.
- Maintain an appropriate inventory of supplies, ensuring timely replenishment.
- Track and coordinate the Move / Add / Change (MAC) of office equipment and assets.
- Ensure agreed-upon uptime levels for copier fleet, working to minimize downtime.
- Collect and submit meter readings for billing and service purposes.
- Serve as the point of contact for equipment delivery and removal, coordinating logistics as necessary.
- Receive and electronically log customer jobs, ensuring proper tracking and documentation.
- Apply asset tags to office equipment and update databases accordingly.
- Process and distribute incoming and outgoing faxes, ensuring proper logging for billing purposes.
- Lift and transport office equipment as needed, with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
