Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer on a contract basis to join our team for specific targeted projects.
The ideal candidate will have specialized experience in DevOps, software development, and security practices.
You will be responsible for delivering projects that have a significant business impact, working closely with the product security assurance team to implement requirements for the Secure Software Development Framework (SSDF).
Key Responsibilities
Integrate security tools and checks (e.g., static and dynamic analysis, dependency scans) into CI / CD pipelines.
Automate vulnerability scanning, code quality checks, and compliance validation processes.
Optimize infrastructure for CI / CD workflows.
Implement branching strategies and code review processes to enhance code quality and collaboration.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer for 7-10 years, with at least 1 year in a lead role.
Proficiency in CI / CD and version control tools (GitHub, GitHub Actions, Git).
Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS).
Experience with configuration management tools.
Expertise in programming and scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration.
Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or Splunk.
Familiarity with system administration tasks, including managing Linux and Windows servers, configuring network services, and ensuring system security and performance optimization.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a team-oriented environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Relevant certifications in cloud platforms, DevOps tools, or related technologies.
Knowledge of security best practices and compliance requirements.
