Job Summary :
We are seeking a motivated Data Operations Analyst to join our IMS team in a hybrid role based in Oaks, PA. As a junior-level resource, you will work closely with Operations, Solutions, Product, and Development teams to improve data quality, efficiency, and mitigate risks associated with data issues. You will be responsible for data pipeline oversight, business and functional requirement documentation, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
Key Responsibilities :
Act as a liaison between Operations, Solutions, Product, and Development teams to identify, develop, and implement product and technology-based solutions.
Ensure data is delivered reliably, accurately, and comprehensively through oversight of daily data pipeline processes.
Develop a strong understanding of financial accounting data content and workflows.
Document business and functional requirements for various data processes.
Create and document UAT / acceptance test cases, performing UAT and acceptance testing for product releases.
Partner with teams across the organization to identify processes that can be improved.
Participate in professional development sessions to acquire tools and skills to grow your career within the company.
Required Qualifications :
BA / BS in Computer Science, MIS, Mathematics, Finance, Accounting, Business, or equivalent practical experience.
Hands-on experience with Python programming.
Comfortable querying and analyzing large data sets using SQL or other languages / tools.
Knowledge of financial accounting data domains.
Experience in financial services, preferably FinTech, in areas such as Asset Management or Wealth Management.
Working understanding of Agile and Iterative development methodologies.
Experience with software development management / tracking tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
