Job Summary :
The Assay Development and Characterization (ADC) team is responsible for developing and optimizing various assay platforms to identify and characterize hits, actives, leads, and construct performance. As part of the ADC team, the Research Assistant will perform general laboratory operations tasks and provide support with experimental execution, at the direction of laboratory and / or project leads.
Key Responsibilities :
- Perform duties with regard to Client's safety practices and procedures.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Maintain laboratory facilities and equipment in accordance with laboratory standards.
- Perform molecular biology techniques such as plasmid preps, quantification, and digestion.
- Assist in plant assays including sampling, culture maintenance, and plant care.
- Comfortable working in controlled environments to perform various plant care tasks.
- Utilize lab instruments to analyze samples and record results with precision and attention to detail.
- Perform lab duties with regard to sterile technique.
- Follow standard lab cleaning procedures.
Required Qualifications :
Education : Bachelors Degree
