Job Summary
As an Infrastructure Developer for the Global Technology Workforce IAM Team, you will collaborate with tech leads and engineers to develop and improve IAM solutions. You will be responsible for coding, testing, debugging, and streamlining day-to-day workflows, focusing on Security and Deployment of Tier Zero Directory Service systems.
Key Responsibilities
Build applications ensuring the code follows the latest coding practices and industry standards, using modern design patterns and architectural principles.
Develop high-quality, well-documented, and efficient code adhering to all applicable Prudential standards.
Collaborate with tech leads to understand needs, define stories, lead engineering in defining technical design, and help team members understand the system end-to-end to deliver robust solutions with business impact.
Write unit, integration tests, and functional automation, researching problems discovered by quality assurance or product support, and developing solutions to address the issues.
Bring an applied understanding of relevant and emerging technologies, identifying opportunities to provide input to the team, coach others, and embed learning innovation in day-to-day work.
Work on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of various factors.
Use programming languages including Python, Terraform, PowerShell, .NET, and others as needed.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Profound understanding of the Microsoft Authentication Stack.
Experience with agile development methodologies and Test-Driven Development (TDD).
Knowledge of business concepts, tools, and processes required for making sound decisions in the context of the company's business.
Ability to learn new skills and knowledge on an ongoing basis through self-initiative and tackling challenges.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
Applied experience with the following technologies :
PowerShell, Terraform, .NET, MS Graph API, Python.
Software security skills including secure coding, DevSecOps; knowledge of security concepts (authentication, authorization, encryption, digital signature, JWT), SSL, web service proxies, firewall, SAML 2.0, OpenID Connect, OAuth 2.0.
Azure Core Services and APIs.
Active Directory and AD FS.
Entra ID.
Windows Server Operating Systems.
Hyper-V and VMware Automation.
Development of Automation and Deployment of Windows Infrastructure.
Automated testing and SDLC with monitoring and logging techniques.
Strong team player.
Preferred Qualifications
5 years of Infrastructure development & Engineering experience.
2 years of experience in designing, implementing, and supporting IAM and SSO solutions.
3 years of experience in .NET, Python, Terraform, and PowerShell development.
3 years of development experience with Active Directory and Entra ID.
Experience with documentation creation.
Familiarity with Design Thinking.
Financial / Insurance industry experience is a plus, but not a must.
