Job Summary
The Operations Clerk-I plays a pivotal role in supporting Catering Golden Market orders by managing the order process from start to finish, ensuring smooth client interactions, merchant coordination, and delivery support. This role focuses on providing a concierge experience for high-priority corporate catering orders, managing merchant relationships, and offering in-person delivery assistance to guarantee exceptional service and successful outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Concierge Order Experience
- Objective : Provide a seamless and high-touch experience for catering orders, ensuring client satisfaction and timely delivery.
- Coordinate catering orders with clients, ensuring all details are captured and communicated effectively.
- Build catering orders for external approval by clients, ensuring accuracy and alignment with their needs.
- Place orders and support order adjustments as necessary to meet client requirements.
- Estimated Order Volume (EOQ) : ~25 orders per week per person.
- Merchant Order Management and Rapid Acquisition
- Objective : Ensure that orders from merchants outside the existing product scope are successfully managed, sourced, and fulfilled.
- Coordinate orders with merchants for custom requests or those outside the standard offering.
- Collaborate with merchants and internal teams to ensure orders meet client needs, including food quantity and diversity.
- Enable catering orders from new merchants, facilitating their onboarding into the Large Order Program (LO Program) to expand the offering and ensure fulfillment.
- Estimated Order Volume (EOQ) : ~15 orders per week per person.
- Delivery Support
- Objective : Serve as the client-facing representative for Client , ensuring the successful delivery of high-stakes orders and providing necessary support during the delivery process.
- Act as a client-facing representative of Client , accompanying Client on high-priority orders to ensure smooth delivery.
- Provide support above and beyond the scope of Client, such as sourcing last-minute items like utensils or additional supplies.
- Assist in training and onboarding new Client into the catering program, ensuring they meet the required standards for client-facing interactions.
- Estimated Order Volume (EOQ) : ~5 orders per week per person.
