Job Summary :
Reporting to the Center of Excellence (COE) - Rotating Equipment Group, in Tonawanda, NY USA, the Online Vibration Monitoring (OVM) Systems Engineer supports Client's online vibration monitoring programs for rotating equipment.
This role interfaces with all key operations, reliability, IT, engineering, and business departments globally, supporting regional organizations to maintain and improve the reliability of rotating equipment and meet desired performance goals.
Key Responsibilities :
- Manage Vibration Data Logger (VDL) program, ensuring systems uptime and updates
- Support regions in implementing and troubleshooting the VDL systems (hardware & software)
- Support the implementation of the ECM VDL program
- Support other engineering tasks, as needed
- This position requires mostly remote work, with occasional office work at Client's offices in Tonawanda, NY
- Accessibility during off-hours (laptop and cell phone) is occasionally required
- The candidate must be a hands-on self-starter, able to work with minimal supervision
