Description :
Support requirements development and management.
Develop subsystem and component performance specifications by analyzing and deriving necessary requirements.
Develop and maintain requirements verification and compliance, and supporting artifacts.
Coordinate and facilitate architecture development of assigned system, subsystems, and components.
Support development and maintenance of interface requirements and interface design information for assigned sub-system, system and components
Document concept design decisions and support generating System / Subsystem Design Descriptions (SSDDs) and capability assessments.
Coordinate and facilitate formal decisions and trade studies to drive design and document results.
Support the performing and monitoring of cost, schedule, and risk.
Coordinate Systems Engineering activities to influence the design.
Support vehicle level Systems Engineering activities and program milestone reviews.
Skills Required Bachelor's degree in engineering and 4 year's relevant experience.
Systems engineering experience performing requirements analysis, derivation and allocation, and translating requirements to viable concepts design solutions within applicable constraints.
Experience developing architecture concepts and evaluating alternatives.
Able to balance system design considering system concept of operations (CONOPS), performance, constraints, and logistics concerns.
Able to plan, conduct, and document trade studies.
Able to generate System / Subsystem Design Descriptions (SSDDs) and capability assessments per the program statement of work (SOW).
Skills Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering or Electrical Engineering with a Master's degree in Systems Engineering.
Experience with military vehicle systems.
Logical architecture experience, including development of use cases.
Experience in Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), including SysML methodology and tools like Cameo.
Familiarity with Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF).Experience with DOORS requirements management tool.
Have and maintain INCOSE Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP) certification.
