Job Summary
We are seeking a Programmer Analyst with expertise in SQL development and business analysis to support a global investment management firm. This position requires working on-site in New York City three days a week.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather and document business requirements from stakeholders.
- Analyze business processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Create detailed business analyses, outlining problems and proposing solutions.
- Design, develop, and maintain SQL databases, including tables, views, indexes, and stored procedures.
- Optimize database performance using indexing, query optimization, and other techniques.
- Collaborate with application teams to design and implement database schemas.
- Ensure data integrity and security through appropriate database constraints and permissions.
- Develop and maintain ETL processes to integrate data from multiple sources.
- Create Power BI dashboards and SSRS reports for actionable insights.
- Conduct data analyses to support business decisions and reporting.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time.
